Engagement Ring



Spencer wanted to create a unique engagement ring for his (now) wife. During an initial conversation, she gave him a couple of ideas and so Spencer immediately took to sketching.
In this project, Spencer modeled up a couple of iterations of a design. In the first iteration, he printed on an Ender 3 to get a good idea of the size comparison of a 0.50-0.70 carat stone. From there, he modeled a few other iterations and landed on the final one shown above.
Once completed, Spencer sent the model to a private custom jewelry shop to have it made. 
The jewelers made a few design modifications for stability, as seen below.
